We’ve been doing business in Port Washington since 2007.
We set down roots in Port because of the irresistible charm of the downtown, its proximity to the lakefront, and the people.
We’re energized by fashion and the opportunity to serve and spread our joy to our clients. When a customer comes into Zing and says, “someone told me you could help me” - we know we have done our jobs well, and our hearts sing! We view our boutique business as far beyond a series of one-time sales, instead, an opportunity to develop enduring relationships.
Motivation to purchase the building in which Zing now resides was to establish our commitment as long-term community participants in downtown life and to concentrate on being great neighbors in Port. We had several opportunities to open additional Zing stores in other towns but wanted to focus on serving our clients in this and surrounding communities and be solidly invested in one place.
We continue to enhance the building, recognizing it as an historical asset for the community. We worked with the local and State Historical Society to have it placed on the local and National Historic Registers.
